Chris Owen has released two new limited edition prints.  They are titled Preparing For The Day and Shades Of Autumn.  These will sell out eventually.  They are available in paper, canvas, and giclee.

For the rest of October, we are marking down prices on most of our Tony Stromberg and David Stoecklein art prints.  If you are doing some early Christmas shopping, you are in luck.  The prices will increase in November.  Please keep in mind that these are not prints that we are trying to get rid of, they are some of our best sellers.

Yes, I know that it’s only October, but Christmas is inching ever so closer.  One thing to be aware of is that many canvases and/or giclees can take up to three weeks to ship out.  Most publishers create them as they are ordered and drying time must be taken into consideration, which can take a bit of time.  Now there are some that already have their canvases and giclees ready to go, but they are in the minority.  So if you want to order one as a gift, you have about six weeks or so to make your decision.  Keep in mind, most of us online retailers obtain our items from the same source(s) so the three week shipping rule is not just a policy here at Elegant Horse Pictures. 

On Monday, we added two new Tim Cox prints Good Horses And Wide Open Spaces and Rumbling Thunder. We also added a new Lesley Harrison print True Friends. These are sure to be big sellers and they come in a variety of sizes and styles.

Ever since we began in 2003, I’ve been amazed at how few customers take us up on our “lowest price” guarantee.  Most of our prices are already the lowest on the internet, but I must confess that there may be situations where are prices are not the lowest.  When they are not, all one has to do is email us at info@ElegantHorsePictures or call us at toll free 866-333-5963 and we’ll make the adjustment.  There are several reasons that we can offer the lowest price:

We do not have a large staff, so there isn’t much of a payroll for us to meet

We are not a brick and mortar business so there are no rental fees for us to pay

We buy most of our top selling prints in huge volumes which means we don’t pay as much in wholesale costs.  By the way, when you take into account our free shipping, some of our deals (like Tony Stromberg-Fierce Grace and David Stoecklein-Cowgirl in Heaven), are BY FAR the best offers on the internet.  

Now there are a few artists like G Harvey, Nancy Glazier, and Martin Grelle where we may not be able to come through with the lowest price.  Those artists and their prints have prices that fluctuate quite often.  The other 99% of the artists that we offer have prices that are much more stable in the marketplace.

We don’t want our customers to overpay! 

When you’re purchasing an art print on the internet, you want to see the image in as much detail as possible.

On Friday we implemented a new image enlargement feature.  We’re really happy with it as it shows the images better than almost any other art site on the internet.  It’s also very easy to return to the ordering page or to look at other images.
